Project Overview

The Kulukulu–Zoka Road rehabilitation project was implemented under the Uganda Support to Municipal Infrastructure Development - Additional Financing (USMID-AF) programme in partnership with Adjumani District Local Government.

This critical 20.59 km road serves as a vital link for remote villages in Ukusijioni Sub-County, improving access to markets, health facilities, schools, and administrative centers.

Side Drains

Excavation and formation of continuous side drains along both edges to channel runoff and prevent road erosion

Full Gravelling

Application of high-quality lateritic gravel wearing course to create a durable, all-weather road surface
